Why EV becomes a hotspot? Faced to the looming en-ergy crisis, it is vital to co-ntrol transportation and adjust the energy industry. Cars bring much convenience to peoples daily life, however, they cause environmental po-llution, noise pollution and so on. What is Regenerative Braking? Regenerative braking captures the energy from braking, normally lost as heat . Regenerative braking uses it to ‘top up’ the battery. Regenerative braking ? As the car brakes, the energy of motion from the wheels is tra-nsferred to the electric motor ?The electric motor act as a ge-nerator,producing electricity ?This electricity is sent to the b-atery where it is stored. What does an EV look and sound like? Sounds silent when running as has less moving parts Looks like a normal car Are EVs better for the environment? They produce 27 per cent less CO2 than petrol cars. They help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They produce no carbon emissions when powered using renewable energy.
