 PAGE 37 摘 要 经济全球化和文化多元化正日益成为世界发展的大趋势，各国之间的交流日益密切与频繁，跨文化交际的作用日益凸显。零翻译作为跨文化交际的一种手段也成为翻译家和学者关注的焦点。对零翻译进行系统的研究有助于全面地理解翻译的本质，拓宽翻译理论研究范围，同时也有助于正确有效地使用零翻译策略，并促进跨文化交际。 对零翻译进行的研究是近十年的事情。一经邱懋如教授提出后就引起了翻译界一系列反响。贾影发表题为《“零翻译”还是“不可译”》一文与邱懋如教授商榷。刘明东、袁斌业等教授也撰文对邱懋如教授提出的“零翻译”进行了不同视角的研究，他们认为零翻译策略是解决翻译难题行之有效的方法。这些研究对于本文从跨文化交际视角研究零翻译起到了较好的借鉴作用。 本文首先论述了跨文化交际的定义，而翻译作为跨交化交际的桥梁在当今社会也逐渐显现它的重要性，零翻译作为一种新的翻译策略，其重要性不言而喻。然后对可译性限度与零翻译、零翻译的发展历史进行分析，同时根据前人对零翻译的理解重新进行定义和分类，将其分为完全零翻译和部分零翻译，并对两类零翻译进行了详细分析和例释。最后根据跨文化交际的需要探讨零翻译的策略与方法。 虽然零翻译的存在是合理的，但任何事物都有两面性，零翻译的存在也有一定的弊端。我们不能将零翻译作为偷懒的借口，也不能在翻译中滥用零翻译，让读者不知所云。总之，我们要认真对待零翻译现象。 关键词：零翻译；跨文化交际；方法 Abstract With the rapid development of world economy, people have increasingly enlarged their communications with other countries and the intercultural communications among countries are becoming more and more important. Translation as a means of intercultural communication has been discussed heatedly by translators and linguists. The systematic study of zero-translation will help to fully understand the nature of translation, to broaden the scope of translation studies, and also help to make correct and effective use of the zero-translation strategy, and to promote intercultural communication. The study of zero-translation has been developed in the last ten years. “Ling Fan Yi” is a new Chinese translation for zero-translation by Professor Qiu Maoru. After this new concept appeared in Chinese Translators Journal, much argument is aroused. For instance, Jia Ying wrote the paper “zero-translation or untranslatability” to discuss with Professor Qiu. Professor Liu Mingdong, Yuan Binye, and some other scholars have also studied “Ling Fan Yi” from different perspectives. They believe that zero-translation strategy is an effective way to solve translation problem.
