Abs tract: framework of database access and integration based on virtual logical database view is
presented extending OGS - D I, The system is composed w ith MetaData Service(MDS) and Grid
V irtualDatabase Service(GVDS). MDS searches themetadata catalog to find the physicaldatabases
that contain the required data. GVDS delegates global logical database and converts SQL query into
search conditions to the physicaldatabases, which uses a distributed query processing scheme to join
multiple physicaldatabases, realizing data access and queries transparently.
