It was hard to find a restaurant open after 8 p.m.
I found several retired people sitting over their tea in a small teahouse talking about political issues such as leaders and ministers of the government.
My first impression was that the business in the city was not as active as that in my hometown. And later, I felt that the people in the city were fond of politics and therefore cared more about the whole country rather than their own locality. I mean there is nothing wrong with caring about the whole country, but I think one should be concerned with one’s own affairs first. But after several months of living in the city and working with the local people, I found many of them were the same as the people in my hometown. They were eager to improve their lives. Maybe by talking about politics, they avoided talking about things that were more private. ;Book 1-Unit 5;Book 1-Unit 5; ;Book 1-Unit 5;Book 1-Unit 5;;Book 1-Unit 5;Book 1-Unit 5
