法国中尉的女人概要1
The French Lieutenants Woman Postmodernism in this novel: Meta-fiction Parody Pastiche Intertextuality Open ending Meta-fiction Novelists explore a theory of fiction through the practice of writing fiction, it is called “fiction about fiction, and because meta-fiction represents the authors’ concern with their own creation, reflects their self-consciousness during the fiction making, it is also called “self-conscious fiction”. The quotations play a role of guidance and suggestion in the novel. They imply the content of each chapter, and play an important role in promoting the development of the plot. For example, chapter 10
