Firstly the scaling calibration method of pipelined CORDIC is modified as a result the number, of pipeline stages is reduced, and the modification is favor of the design of the reconfigurable structure. T hen, through the vertical and horizontal reconfiguration design among the modified 8-bit pipelined CORDIC units, the neighboring ( 22) / ( 3 3) / (4 4) basic units can be combined into a CORDIC unit of 16/ 24/ 32-bit word-w idth.
