Greetings Greet the students as usual and welcome the teachers together. Step 2. Revision of Lesson 25 Review the four important festivals in the Western (Christmas Day ; Easter; Thanksgiving Day; Halloween) Review the slangs in Lesson 25: a couch potato be all ears a white lie a green hand business is business Step 3. Warming up and lead in Questions and answers: 1). When we mentioned to the USA, what will you think of? (the White House; the Status of Liberty; Hollywood; the NBA, films , etc) 2). When we mentioned to the west of the USA, what will you think of ? (Cowboys) 3). What’s your impression of the cowboys? 4). Is it the real life of the cowboys in America? Step4. First reading: Before learning the text, teach the new words firstly according to the phonemes.
