Based on the principles of soft ware engineering, the basic programming factors abo t serial comm nication are picked p, which incl de ni versal part and individ al part. For the niversal part, the serial comm nication program for vario s MCUs is provided, and for the individ al part, bot h basic programming principles and grafted point s are presented. The design methods and programs in this paper have been tested on 8 b, 16 b and 32 b MCUs, w hich can be a niversal component in embedded application.
