In this paper, evolut ionary algorit hm is applied to t he multistage distributionplanning problem. A novel chro , : mosome coding strategy is proposed to ensure that all the ran , domly generated chromosomes are feasible. This kind of coding ( strategy makes the searching process confined to only feasible solutions. In addit ion, because of no need of radiallity checking ) , procedure, the evolution process is greatly improved.
