This paper discusses the design and development process of association rule mining system based on Apriori algorithm. The system is based on the classic Apriori algorithm, and the transaction database is transformed into bitmap matrix, which greatly improves the search efficiency, and mining frequent itemsets and association rules separately. The paper is organized as follows: first introduces the definition of data mining, and application; then introduces the basic concepts of association rules mining; and then analyses the demand of the system, and puts forward the design scheme; followed by the implementation of the system; the final test of the system, the system used in the mining of traditional Chinese prescription in the library drug drug group, verified the correctness and practicality of the system.
