№．3 陕西科技大学学报 J帆 2008 ·20· JOURNAL OF SHAANXI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCETECHNOLOGY VloL 26 ’ 文章缩骨：1000-581 1(2008)03-0020-05 SYNTHESIS OF C(f)／HA-PMM-A BI ZENG Li-ping ，CAO Li—yunI，HUANG Jian-feng ，GUO Shenz．ZHANG HaiI (1．Scho ol of Materials Science and Engineering，Shaanxi University of Science Technology，Xi an ． 710021，China；2．Polyester Films Research Development Center，Fuwei Films Co．Ltd．，Weifang。 261061，China) Abstract：An in-situ polymerizing and solution co-mixing approach was used in the formation of poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)matrix composites using hydroxyapatite(HA) nano-particles and short carbon fibers(C(D)as reinforcing materials．The microstructures and fracture surface morphologics of the composite were characterized using XRD，F1 IR， SEM and EDS analyses．The flexural properties were tested by a universal testing machine ． Results show that the uniform dispersion of short carbon fibers and HA nano-particles in PMMA matrix is achieved．The stress-strain curves of as-prepared C(D／HA-PMMA compos— ites indicate that excellent flexural strength and modulus are achieved．The flexuraI strength will reach the maximum value of 97．41 MPa when fiber and HA mass content arrive to 4 and 2 ． Key words：bio-composites；short carbon fibers；hydroxyapatite；in-situ polymerization CLC Number：TB332；TQ327．3 Document Code：A Sinee poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)was introduced as the bone cements in the early 1 96
