畜禽遗传资源保种场保护区和基因库（Conservation area and gene pool of livestock and poultry genetic resources conservation reserve） Conservation area and gene pool of livestock and poultry genetic resources conservation reserve Management measures (June 5, 2006, Ministry of agriculture, since July 1, 2006) Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 These measures are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Livestock Husbandry Law of the Peoples Republic of China in order to strengthen the protection and management of livestock and poultry genetic resources. These Measures shall be applicable to the establishment, determination, supervision and administration of the second breeds of livestock and poultry genetic resources, conservation areas, protected areas and gene banks. The third Ministry of agriculture is responsible for the management of the national livestock and poultry genetic resources conservation reserve, conservation area and gene pool, and is responsible for establishing or determining the national livestock and poultry genetic resources conservation reserve, reserve and gene pool. The provincial peoples government administrative departments responsible for the management of animal husbandry in the administrative area of the genetic resources of livestock and poultry breeds, gene bank reserves, and is responsible for the establishment, or to determine the genetic resources of livestock and poultry breeding farms, the provincial reserve and gene library.
