国家公务员制度（State civil service system） Provisional Regulations on the state civil service system Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Constitution with a view to realizing the scientific management of the state civil servants, ensuring the optimization and honesty of the state civil servants, and improving administrative efficiency. The second chapter, obligations and rights Sixth national civil servants must perform the following obligations: (1) observance of the constitution, laws and regulations; (two) perform official duties in accordance with the laws, regulations and policies of the state; (three) to closely contact the masses, listen to the opinions of the masses, accept the supervision of the masses, and strive to serve the people; (four) safeguard national security, honor and interests; (five) devotion to duty, hard work, due diligence, and obedience to orders; (six) keeping state secrets and secret jobs; (seven) impartial and honest, wholehearted devotion to public duty; (eight) other obligations prescribed by the Constitution and the law.
