一九七六年以来中国发生的六级以上大地震（Since 1976, there have been more than six major earthquakes in China） Since 1976, the statistics of the time and place of earthquake in China have been as follows. The magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck Inner Mongolia and ringer on April 6, 1976. The affected township reached 67, with 131,613 people affected, 28 dead and 865 injured. The earthquake has a sense of range west to gansu, south to kunming, north to Hohhot, east to changsha. A magnitude 6 earthquake occurred on July 9, 1979 in liyang, jiangsu province. The quake-sensitive areas include xuzhou, Shanghai, wuhan, nanchang, nanjing and hefei. A 6.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in taunfu county, ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture, sichuan province, Jan. 24, 1981. The quake was felt in chengdu, about 280 kilometers from the epicenter. On April 18, 1985, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the county of yulong district, lushan county, yunnan province. On 23 August 1985, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck northeast of the tomloan peak, at the border between wucha and shu an, xinjiang. On November 6, 1988, there were 7.6 magnitude and 7.2 earthquake in lancang county of yunnan province and the border of cangyuan county. A total of 738 people were killed, 3,491 injured and 412,000 collapsed. On September 22, 1989, a 6.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in xiaojin county, sichuan province.
