On the base of the development of cyberspace, cyber Chinese new words came into being. There are some differences between cyber language and natural language in language style and form. This paper offers some distinctive features of cyber Chinese language from vocabulary, grammar to pragmatics, analyses the reasons of the rise of cyber Chinese new words, summarizes the cultural psychology of the youth behind the cyber Chinese new words, and sums up some negative impacts of newly created Chinese words on the Internet. From the research in this paper we can get the conclusion that cyber language in China are making great progress, while its negative impacts will be wiped out step by step. Researches on cyber language will have a positive impact on the research of the development of the application of Chinese language, and it will also guide our Chinese language in a sound direction.
