Harbin City Environmental Engineering Assessment Center, Heilongjiang Harbin 150076) Abstract: in recent years, the rapid development of papermaking industry, in order to discharge the wastewater, adopt a reasonable processing technology. Through the research on the pollution characteristics of waste paper making wastewater, the relatively mature treatment technology and the clean production technology of zero emission, the paper puts forward some suggestions for the further development of waste paper processing technology. At present, many processing technology has been successfully developed and put into use, achieved good results, but there are some limitations in the application scope, energy consumption, technology operation, investment and operating cost. It is suggested that efforts should be made to develop new technologies for wastewater treatment and to study the clean production process of zero waste discharge, the optimization of wastewater treatment equipment and the use of chemicals.
