Abstract Objective: T o investigate therapeutic eff ect of anatomica bone p ate in interochanteric fracture.
Methods: 32 cases of ~ ! types comminuted inter trochanteric fracture w ere tr eated w ith anatomica p ate.
Results:29 cases w ere fo ow ed up for 6 to 36 months after oper atio n. Contraposit ion of fracture w ere good , in
terna f ixation of anatomica bone p ate w ere stab e and motion of knee joint w er e satisf actory . T here w ere no
evag ination or intro versive hip joint and abnorma ity of imbs ength . Conclusion: According to temp ate of
f emora gr eater trochanter , semi circu ar anatomica bo ne p ate are designed and made. T he design show s w e
distr ibut ion of forces and overcome disadvantag e of eccentricity of f ix ation. T he comminuted fr actur es are w e
integrated w ith the stab e f ix ation of the p ate. I t may be va uab e for fur ther po pu ar ized and used in c inic.
