School of Car and Transportation, Qingdao Technological University, Qingdao, Shandong 266520, China) Abstract: Focusing on the prevalent parking problem of commercial district, this paper has designed a kind of mechanical parking equipment−lift shifting type parking equipment. On the basis of elaborating program envisages and basic working principles, this article analyzes comprehensively the structure of lifting shifting type by using principles of mechanics, finishing the design of the main components. The article uses advanced PLC technology to control vertical and horizontal transmission equipment of the car boards so as to finish access operation. At the same time, according to the structure features of lift shifting type parking equipment, the article has set necessary safety devices to ensure the whole garage operation safe and smooth.
