Then fractal dmi ension methodw as used for the whole study area and subregions w ith d ifferent attribute. R esu lts indicate that the w hole study area and the subregions w ith d ifferent attribute have selfsmi ilarity. The fractal dmi ension number of m ineral area is slightly h igher than that of the entire study area. The fractal dmi ension value of copper m ine field is larger than that of gold m ine field. The value of ruptured zone w ith NW, NWW strike ismuch h igher than thatw ith SE strike. It indicates that the larger the value, themore com plex the geological structure.
