七条箴言（Seven Proverbs） What is education? What are the most important principles in education? The excellent minds at all times and in all lands have made many reflections and made many speeches. I find that the most pertinent and wonderful words about education are often from the philosophers mouth. Special educators and educators, if they do not have insight into human nature and wisdom, it is easy to say limited to experience, or stick to the psychological details, superficial, trivial and mediocre. Now, I list my favorite educational ideas, seven points altogether, and may be called the seven maxim of education. They do have the characteristics of Proverbs: direct to the nature of things, concise as an oracle, and simple as common sense. Sadly, people lost in the illusion of things, would rather believe that a variety of complicated fallacy, but forget the simple common sense. However, still honest soul will feel, how to monitor the ills of todays education, our education need to return to common sense, return to education of the most basic reason. The first maxim is that education means growth, growth is the goal, and growth without purpose The argument was put forward by Rousseau, and later on by Dewey. Education is growth, concise and comprehensive out the essence of education, is to make the ability of each person and the nature of innate healthy growth, rather than the outside of things such as knowledge into a container. Socrates has long pointed out that knowledge is the inherent capacity of every soul. The wise men at that time declared that they were able to instill the knowledge of their souls into the soul, Socrates laughed, as if they could put sight into the eyes of the blind. When we understand the principle that education is growth, we also know what education should do. For example, is the ability to develop intellectual curiosity and rational thinking, rather than instill knowledge; moral education is to encourage the lofty spirit of the pursuit,
