Abstract: Root bound p lugs is themain problem in the container seedling production, wh ich affects
the container seedling s quality. Root control technology changes the root system configuration and
solves root bound plugs, so as to mi prove the nursery stock quality. Th is article introduces emphati
cally the influence of root control technology on the root system configuration and the root system
configuration research techn ique. The research perspectivew as also presented.
