Changes of PAHs Specification for GS Certification GS 认证中PAHs 标准的变更 The testing for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) has been mandatorily in voluntary German GS Mark certification from April, 2008. On August 04th, 2014, the committee for product safety determined the requirements for the testing for PAH in the frame of the award of a GS-mark as specification according to § 21, subsection 1 no. 3 of the German Product Safety Act. The testing for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) became mandatory in voluntary German GS Mark certification. Please kindly refer to Table A about new PAHs testing certification schedule. 自2008 年 4 月起，自愿性德国 GS 标识认证强制加入了多环芳香烃（PAHs）测试。2014 年8 月4 日，德国产品安全委员会按照《德国产品安全法》第21 条第 1 点第3 项的规定， 确定凡授予GS 标识认证必须进行PAHs 测试。新的PAHs 测试认证明细，烦请参照表A 。 The new requirement has to be applied mandatorily from July 1st, 2015. The document ZEK 01.4-08 will lose its validity as of Jun 30th, 2015. Most of the products which applied for GS certification will be affected due to new testing requirement of PAHs, such as electronic equipment, mechanical products, toys and so on.
