Mobil Product Data Sheet Mobil DTE 20 Series Premium Antiwear Hydraulic Oils Product Description Mobil DTE 20 Series are premium-quality hydraulic oils developed in cooperation with pump and component manufacturers specifically for severe hydraulic systems using high-pressure, high- output pumps. They are formulated from stable, high quality, high-VI base stocks and additives which provide the superior antiwear and film strength and other performance characteristics necessary for critical hydraulic systems. Benefits Mobil DTE 20 Series offer the following benefits: • Excellent keep-clean performance for systems critical to deposit build-up, such as sophisticated NC machines • Outstanding load-carrying and antiwear properties providing superior protection against wear • Controlled demulsibility allowing the oils to work well when contaminated with small amounts of water but separate large amounts of water readily • Multimetal compatibility under both wet and dry conditions, protecting pumps using steel and copper alloys • Excellent protection against rust; good thin oil film protection for surfaces intermittently wetted by oil Applications Their super-stabilized additive system neutralizes the formation of corrosive materials, provides excellent antiwear properties and multimetal compatibility. It also provides better thin oil film protection against rusting, retention of superior oil and system cleanliness and improved compatibility with water. The Mobil DTE 20 Series are approved in the Denison HFO, Vickers V-104C and 35VQ25, and Sundstrand pump tests. Their 12-stage rating in the FZG Gear Test demonstrates a high level of protection against wear and scuffing. Mobil DTE 24, 25 and 26 are approved by Cincinnati Milacron against specifications P-68, P-70, and P-69 respectively. Typical Properties
