砂岩對黃緣螢生長水質影響之研究 鄭秀玲()林俐玲()() 摘要 為探討砂岩對黃緣螢生長水質的影響，本研究以「碎肉餵食法」為基礎，針對水質部分進行試驗，採四種處理，自來水、山泉水、自來水加砂岩 、山泉水加砂岩，3重複；取樣60隻兩齡幼蟲分別進行水質監控，檢測pH、溶氧、氨態氮、亞硝酸態氮的變化對於黃緣螢生長的影響。 結果顯示，自來水加砂岩處理的幼蟲四月中旬最早羽化，而山泉水未加砂岩的幼蟲遲至五月份才羽化，研究顯示，砂岩提供硝化菌附著的場所，可以淨化水質，提早羽化的時間。本實驗從2011/8/18-2012/6/14 完成一個世代需10個月的時間，第1代幼蟲60隻，羽化成蟲有雌蟲15隻，雄蟲9隻，羽化率40％，性別比60：100；每隻雌蟲平均產70顆卵，第2代幼蟲有1050隻。在不打幫浦的環境下，十二天換水一次，以族群的方式來復育黃緣螢，堪稱為一種省工的方法。 關鍵詞：砂岩、硝化作用、螢火蟲生命史 he effect of sandstone on the water quality for the growth and development of Luciola Ficta Olivier firefly Shiow-Ling Cheng(1) Li-Ling Lin(2) Chao-Yuan Lin(3) Graduate Student(1) and Professor(2), Department of Soil and Water Conservation,National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan. Abstract To study the effect of sandrock on water quality in relation to the growth and development of Luciola ficta olivier firefly, the current study adapted the ‘fresh meat rearing method’ proposed by Dr. Ho Chien Jung and opted for four different growth mediums : tap water, mountain spring water, tap water with sandstone, and mountain spring water with sandstone. Water quality monitor of both mountain spring water and tap water were analyzed to understand the effect of water quality on firefly breeding and growth. The water quality assessment was based on the analysis of oxygen, pH value, and nitrite content. A total of 60 larvae were randomly selected to take part in this study. The result indicated that the tap water with sandstone group was the first to emerge as adults in April. On the other hand, mountain spring water alone did not result in early emergence. Previous research had shown that sandstone provides habitat for bacteria culture that helps with water purification and promotion of early emergence of adults. The current study started on 2011/8/19 and ended on 2012/6/14. The life cycle of one generation of Luciola ficta oliverie firefly is about 10 months. The first generation produced a total of
