The etiology of trigeminal neuralgia is not clear. a tients with trigeminal neuralgia suffer from severe pain. For years, many methods have been usedto treat this disease. However, the therapeutic effects are not ideal,with some disadvantages, such as, inefficacy, trauma, and side effects. It has been studied and proved that percutaneous balloon compression ia an effective therapy for the patients with trigeminal neuralgia.
