We are proud to acknowledge and thank the Environment Conservation Fund and the Environmental Campaign Committee for their kind donations of 23 air-conditioners (worth $100,000), as well as for donating funds worth $4,000, which will be used for the promotion of environmental education. 本校 鳴謝 環境及自然保育基金(環保基金) 及 環境保護運動委員會(環保運動委員會) 捐贈冷氣機二十三部(拾萬元)及教育資助金肆仟元 Hong Kong Taoist Association Wun Tsuen School 香港道教聯合會雲泉學校致意 27-6-2013 (1) Approved Funding The Environmental Education Community Action Projects Vetting Sub-Committee approved our school ’s application last 8th of April, 2013. A fund of $104,000 was approved in purchasing and installing 23 air-conditioners with Grade 1 Energy Labels (worth $100,000). The remaining $4,000 will be used for the promotion of environmental education. (2) Progress Update a) Tenders for Air-Conditioners: The call for tender in purchasing and installing 23 air-conditioners occurred last 2nd of May, 2013. The initial bid was opened last 7th of June, 2013. 14 companies made submissions. The School Tender Evaluation Committee approved the submission of “Talent Engineering Consultants” since they gave the lowest bid. b) Progress: The renovation of the air-conditioners is scheduled from the 28th to the 31st of August, 2013. c) The installation of the air-conditioners has been finished on the 19th and 20th of August.
