The calculation formu la of them ethod is derived. Compa- ring w ith the trad itional transferm atrixm ethod, thism ethod needs not to solve the d ifferential equations, but just fo-l low s the iterative formula to get the necessary transferm atrix, and based on the search m ethod it can to get the natu- ral frequencies of structures. A lthough themethod is conditional stable, the stable cond ition is easy tom eet. Exam- ples show that th ism ethod is effective and h igh-precision. It can solve the natural frequency of any structure.
