Methods Choosing 270 patients after anorectal operation which were randomly divided into treatment group with 135 cases and control group with 135 cases, oral administration of Maren Soft Capsule began at day 2 after the operation in the treatment group, twice daily, two capsules each time; while the control group was not given Maren Soft Capsule. Observation for 14 d after operation, the defecation time, defecation frequency, degrees of defecation difficulties and pain, bleeding, and infection were recoreded and statistically analized. Results Maren Soft Capsule could improve the defecation time, defecation frequency, degrees of defecation difficulties and pain, bleeding, and infection after the operation. Conclusion Taking Maren Soft Capsule has the good effect on preventing the occurrence of constipation after anorectal operation.
