architects office Mecanoo’s unique design
philosophy evolves the concept of “Design
with Nature” to “Design Abstracts Nature ”.
B e s i d e s t h e r e s p o n s e s a n d r e s p e c t t o
nature, Mecanoo considers “nature” to be an
inspirational “activator ” in design process,
promotes nature from physical responses
to psychic characteristic. Through interview
with Francine Houben and the projects, the
design philosophy of Mecanoo is concretely
interpreted.
