Points of view are those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of the State of Oregon Disaster Preparedness and Response Plan Development Guide Phase I: Organizing Resources and Team Building Phase II: Assessing Risks Phase III: Mitigation Plan Development Phase IV: DPRP Implementation Phase V: DPRP Ongoing Improvements The DPRP Development Narrative in 5 Phases: Phase I - Organizing Resources and Team Building: New DPRP group/team fills out team – building questionnaires about themselves, the?facility, collection and staff/volunteer preparedness. The first 3 sections or phases of this guide are a DPRP Plan development?template with all appropriate questionnaire assessment documents to?complete. These are used in Phase I, II and III to assemble all necessary?? information for assessment and begin mitigation work. We’re filling out the team- building and assessment forms to see what we need. Phase II - Assessing Risks: Team uses Phase I team building questionnaires and information to begin the mitigation and response plans. During this phase, the DPRP team will fill out assessment questionnaires and use the information learned to begin creating a mitigation plan, or a prioritized mitigation to-do list; this?list will include organizational tasks, information gathering tasks, and materials and equipment inventory tasks. We’re using the info from Phase I and II to create a master to-do list for Phase III Phase III - Mitigation and Response Plan Development: Use information on mitigation and response plan priorities to assign team tasks and responsibilities, acquire disaster supplies and equipment, and begin staff and?volunteer training. We’re addressing the needs by following the to do list from Phase II. As
