To improve the students’ abilities to analyze articles by introducing them some reading skills. 教学重点 Comprehension of the text Stressing the primary meaning of the words and their applications in sentences. In view of the whole structure of the text, the main idea of the text will be understood correctly. Grammar : The inverted sentences Key sentence patterns Because of …, sb can do sth, never worrying about … While sb does sth, someone else does … Structured writing Writing a cause-and-effect paragraph based on the outline on page eleven. 教学方法 用联想生成教学方法促进学生新旧知识的交融,注重培养学生用联想和推测来填补空挡的思维方式,以提问和讨论为主,注重师生互动 教学过程 Warm-up activities: Group discussing (10 minutes) Understanding the text (5 minutes) (ask students some questions related to the text.)
