Abstract :Eight different irrigation and fertilization treatments for the purpose of im proving turf quality in winter were tested and evaluated. The results indicated that the management measures produced the most influence on A x onop us comp ress us ; among them the manure + bran + sand treatment made it assume the longest green time in win ter , and the other treatments prolonged its green period up to 1～2 months. There were several management measures that bettered the turf quality of E rem ochloa op hi u roi des in winter. The management measures had the least impact on Ch rysop ogon acicul at us due to its strong resistance to drought , cold , and infertility. Of the irrigation and fertil ization measures tested in this paper , the higher irrigation frequency (one time/ 4 days) ( )
