Experience of LIU Shao-neng syndrome differentiation and treatment on
gastroesophageal refl ux disease

Abstract: The syndrome differentiation and treatment ideas and methods of professor LIU Shao-neng of
gastroesophageal reflux disease were summarized. Professor LIU thinks that gastroesophageal reflux disease-bit center is
esophagus, the main pathogenesis is lower stomach disharmony, and related closely with spleen, stomach, liver and other organs.
In the pathological process, the disease often combine with defi ciency of Qi, phlegm-dampness, blood stasis, the cold-heat jumble
and other factors, and mainly divided into 5 types, including disharmony between liver and stomach, defi ciency of spleen and heat
of stomach, defi ciency of spleen and weak of stomach, combination of phlegm and heat, and combination of phlegm and blood
stasis. At the same time, in the treatment he often uses drugs of harmonizing stomach for descending adverse qi and relieving
hyperacidity and resisting damage, to neutralize the damage of stomach acid on esophagus.
