Non-linear transform algorithm for image contrast enhancement

Abstract : Contrast type of original image is determined by a new criterion. Gray transform parameters
are directly obtained by the new criterion. Global enhancement is implemented to the original image.
After making discrete stationary wavelet transform to the enhanced image, details enhancement is done
by certain nonlinear operator in the high frequency sub-bands of each decomposition level respectively.
Experimental results show that the new algorithm can enhance the global contrast of image effectively;
meanwhile it also emphasizes the detail information of the target in the image well.

强 并没有事先判断输入图像的对比度类型 而且某些算法的智能性和自适应性较差 需要较多的人为介
入 基于此 本文基于非完全贝塔变换和平稳小波变换提出一种自适应的图像增强方法
1 基于直方图的图像分类
基于灰度直方图将原始图像在视觉效果上分为七类 分类的标准如图 1 所示
