Results H bA 1c w as th most important risk factor for k ton body accumulat ion ( OR 1, P 005) . Th cut point of HbA 1c for pr diction of k ton body accumulat ion w as 89% . Conclusion Diab tic pati nts wit h high HbA 1c( 89% ) should und rgo scr ning t st to x clud diab tic k tosis or diab t ic k toacidosis.
