Studies on the Species Diversity of Castanopsis kawakamii Forest Community

A stract:Through in estigating the natural forest of Castanopsis kawakamii, this articleanalysed t he community species di ersity
and species important alue to preliminarily approach the successional tendency of arbor species of C. kaw akamii community. The
Simpon index and Shannon- W iener index of the community species di ersity of C. kaw akamii forest were 0. 95g and 3. 495, re
specti ely , w hich indicated t hat the relati e stability of the present community w as comparati ely high and the species di ersity of
t he community was rich. The analysis of t he communit y important alue showed that C. kaw akamii was the main dominant
species in the community. The community successional tendency re ealed that we should intensify the protection of C. kaw akamii
natural regeneration to make the community stable through the complementation of the modes of seed breeding, sprouting, etc.
