Abstract:In this paper,five sensitivity factors affecting the eco鄄environment of Shanghai City, i.e. ,rivers and lakes,historical relics and forest parks,geological disasters,soil pollution,and land use,were selected,and their weightswere determined by analytic hierarchy process. Combi鄄 ning with GIS spatial analysis technique,the sensitivities of these factors were classified into four grades,i.e. ,highly sensitive,moderately sensitive,low sensitive,andinsensitive,andthe spatial distribution of the ecological sensitivity of Shanghai City wasfigured out. There existed a significant spatial differentiation in the ecological sensitivity of the City,and the insensitive,low sensitive, moderately sensitive, and highly sensitive areas occupied 37郾07%, 5郾94%, 38郾16%, and 18郾83%,respectively.
