With the increased level of information and education reform, course arrangement requests higher and higher. This paper analyzed the process of course arrangement in colleges and universities, designed an intelligent timetabling algorithm combining the heuristic algorithm, backtracking algorithm and tabu search algorithm, implemented term cross-over operation, multi-stage collision detection, multi-system smooth docking and other new features. It is proven that the system embodies the concept of education management reform, improves the efficiency and level of course arrangement in colleges and universities .
