He could not help but go back to Ohio to see his wife and children. Mothers Day is here, and on Mothers day he will go home as often as he can, but this year he is just too tired. In a small town just outside of little rock, he drove by a flower shop. He said to himself, I know what I should do, and Ill send some roses to my mother.. He came to the small flower shop and found a boy talking to the clerk. Excuse me, miss, how many roses can I get for 6 dollars? asked the boy. The clerk tried to explain the roses roses, and perhaps carnations would fit the boys wishes. No, I must have roses, he said. My mother was very weak when she was ill last year, and I didnt spend much time with her. I want something special. It must be rose, because mother loves roses best. He has a firm attitude. The clerk looked up at John, but shook his head. John was deeply touched by the boys words. The boy was so eager to get the roses. Johns business has been good. So he looked at the clerk, then whispered to the clerk that he would buy roses for the boy. The clerk looked at the boy and said, all right, Ill take you 6 dollars and give you a dozen roses.. The boy was so happy that he almost jumped up. He took the flowers and ran out of the flower shop. Seeing the little boy so excited, the extra $35 had no white flowers. John ordered the flowers he ordered, and repeated to the clerk that a note to his mothers flowers should be attached to how much he loved her. He was in a good mood when he drove out of the shop. He stopped at about two blocks from the flower shop because of the red light.
