The new art curriculum standard clearly the nature and value of art curriculum, then pointed out the five basic concepts of each teacher should possess, the first is to enable students to form the basic art literacy. Then art literacy should be what kind of training? Art Literacy is an important part of students humanistic quality, refers to the students in the future social life, engage in economic production make personal decisions required for the fine arts discipline concept and understanding of the process and research ability, but also a better understanding of the relationship between art and society and the essence of art, form a scientific attitude and correct values. Obviously, this art literacy refers to ordinary citizens rather than art accomplishment, artists need art accomplishment. This quality includes three aspects: basic knowledge and skills that is the subject of the basic content and methods; according to the process of composition course and emotion attitude and values. How will the idea into teaching behavior, cultivate students art quality, the author thinks that in the teaching to do some exploration that:

Cultivation of Art Literacy cannot do without the aesthetic ability, improve artistic accomplishment, appreciation is an effective means to improve the aesthetic ability.
