What You Will Learn You will develop an understanding of ASHRAE Standard 90.1 and the key techniques of building energy simulation. The important considerations of using the standard and the simulation method for green building certification will be highlighted. After completing the workshop, you should know:  The basic concepts of Standard 90.1 and how to use it for green building certification  How to apply Appendix G of the standard to simulate building energy use  The key techniques of building energy simulation  How to use building energy software for green building design and analysis Course Content Basic concepts of ASHRAE Standard 90.1 – including the latest 2010 version and previous versions (2001, 2004 and 2007). Appendix G for building energy simulation – specific guidance on the rules and procedures to use it to simulate building energy use.
