Parametric geometric modeling and dynamic generating modeling of a rack or hob tool and pinion tool to machine gears with involute teeth are carried out by using Autolisp programs and AutoCAD software. The research result of this paper provides a technical basis for studying and analyzing more complicated involute teeth profile of non-circular gears.
