Semirigid composite woodconcrete Tbeams(半刚性的复合woodconcrete Tbeams)

Semirigid composite wood-concrete T-beams Demarzo, Mauro A. 1, Tacitano, Marcelo2 ABSTRACT Together with research development and use of classically composite structures, for instance, steel beam and concrete plate, other forms of coupling of different materials and structural elements appeared, including timber-concrete composite structure. This one has gained an important place in timber engineering in the last years. The results of this concept are composite timber-concrete girders, which are successfully used in bridge structures, buildings, industrial and sport buildings, or in reconstruction of old wooden floor structures. The association among many kinds of material intends to design more rigid and stronger structures. By considering that each material may be disposed on a region where the type of actions which it is submited is that one with more capacity to absorb, it works in its best service region. This composition is justified because the timber, likewise the steel, holds a strength higher with regard to tension. The mixed beams in study are fastened through nails, which supply a partial joint, also named semirigid connection, where the timber-concrete cross section is subjected to a relative slip. The methodologies shown in this paper wrap statics basic, displacement compatibilities and energy conservation, with perfectly elastic assumption. It is done a comparison of two methods to measure the mixed beams – Exact Method and Approximate Method. INTRODUCTION Partial composition is the term employed by NEWMARK, SEISS VIEST (1951) refering to joint deformation influence in the behavior of the mix
