Analysis of external fixation in treatment of severe pelvic fractures in the application [Abstract] Objective To investigate the early treatment of severe pelvic fracture method for the use of external fixation for severe emergency external fixation of unstable pelvic fractures, injuries of the same period or stage anti-shock therapy treatment, and its efficacy. Results 11 patients with unstable pelvic fracture with or without other organ damage in patients after 4 to 13 months follow-up, no deaths, pelvic fracture healed well without obvious pelvic tilt, limb shortening lt;1 cm, 1 patient had pin tract infection, 2 cases after a long walk sacroiliac pain. Conclusion The early external fixation of unstable pelvic fractures is simple and can be completed quickly, can effectively control bleeding, help anti-shock therapy to reduce mortality.
