Methods immune histochemical methods to detect 55 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma of MMP 2, MMP  9 and TIMP 1 expression at the same time, 10 cases of adjacent normal esophageal mucosa as a control. results of MMP 2 and MMP-9, TIMP-1 in normal mucosal epithelial expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, the positive expression rate of 21.8%, 81.8% and 78.2%; esophageal cancer tissues of different histological grade of MMP 2 protein expression of MMP 9 and TIMP 1 significantly sex difference (χ 2 = 0.68 ~ 2.76, Pgt; 0.05, with the deepening of the degree of tumor infiltration, MMP  9 positive expression rate was significantly increased, the difference was significant (χ 2 = 16.55, P lt;0.05, lymph node metastasis, MMP 9-positive expression was significantly higher than those without lymph node metastasis, the difference was significant (χ 2 = 10.96, P lt;0.05, and the clinical and pathological staging in stage Ⅲ were significantly higher than 0 ~ Ⅰ and Ⅱ (χ 2 = 4.89,9.46, P lt; 0.05 Conclusion of MMP 2 and MMP 9, TIMP 1 expression and tumor differentiation has nothing to do, of MMP-9 expression with tumor invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and clinical staging.
