Improved Carisolv for caries removal techniques on patients in remote areas Author: Zhang Jing Lei Guo Canliang Xueguo Min [Abstract] Objective: To explore the effect of combination of Carisolv technology improved minimally invasive portable dental drill for caries removal method on the remote areas of dental caries prevention, caries prevention for patients in remote areas to find the appropriate way. Method: a unit of remote resident officers and men, 196 cases of teeth, using a portable dental drill, the Carisolv tools and the gel, non-invasive to minimally invasive method to rot, light-cured resin filling, and the control effect of 1-year follow-up. Results: portable dental drill with Carisolv technical environment of the remote areas of the smooth development of 3, 6 and 12 months after the success rate was 98.5%, 97.4% and 95  4% Conclusion: The combination of Carisolv portable dental drill minimally invasive caries removal technology suitable for remote areas, caries prevention, is an ideal, safe, effective, convenient and a the anticaries new technology. Methods: 196 cases of teeth with caries in a remote military unit, based on non- invasive and minimal invasive methods, were applied with portable dental drills, Carisolv tools and gel to remove caries, then filled with light-cured composite resin. All cases were followed up for one year. Results: Portable dental drill and Carisolv technology was carried out smoothly in remote areas. Success rate at 3,6,12 months after treatment were 98.5%, 97.4%, 95.4%.
