Methods: a retrospective analysis of our hospital in 2008 May ~2011 year in May 190 cases of early HCC patients, according to the patients were divided into radiotherapy group (n=95) and chemotherapy group (n=95), 2 groups of patients were received stereotactic conformal radiotherapy and chemotherapy of hepatic artery embolization in the treatment of patients, compared the clinical efficacy. Results: a significant change before and after treatment in the patients of 2 groups of WBC, RBC, PLT, TBIL, ALT, PT index showed no (P 0.05); the patients in the 2 groups after treatment AFP, TMD were significantly decreased, the observation group to reduce the level of more obviously (P 0.05); total effective rate of observation group was 69.48%, significantly higher than that of 43.16% in the control group (P 0.05); 2 patients in treatment group occurred during neutropenia, gastrointestinal reaction and complications after symptomatic treatment, the symptoms disappeared, no other serious complications occurred; there were no significant differences between the 2 groups of patients relapse rate at 1 years and 1 years survival rate and 2 year survival rate (P 0.05), the observation group of 2 years and 3 years survival rate was significantly lower than the control group, 3 years survival rate was significantly higher than that in control group (P 0.05).
