What is his/ her name? Is it fun? What food do you give them to eat? What do you like to do when you are with your pet? （激发学习兴趣。） Teach the words . Leading-in: I have a pet dog now. He can do many things, do you know what he can do? Let’s read the text and find the answers. （谈论与本课相关主题，从而引出导入新课。） II 课文教学 thinking What jobs can dogs do? How many are mentioned ?Then answer. (整体感知课文内容。) Listen, repeat and think: ? How long does it take? Practice reading and try to find answers. Answer questions and learn new words and expressions. Make a dialogue in groups, then try to finish the tasks out. Teach the text Well done, Spotty,then finish the tasks，let the students do them themselves, you can give them some help if they need your help. Then check the answers in class. Grammar teaching. 一、句子结构。 二、 从句。 1.定语从句，也就是做定语（修饰名词的句子成分叫做定语）的从句 定语从句实际上起到了形容词的作用，所以也叫形容词性从句。和定语一样，定语从句是修饰名词的成分。如：the girl who she talk about .这个女孩就是她谈论的那个。很明显 who she talk about 是在修饰这个 the girl的2.宾语从句，它在句子中作宾语（动作的承受者）成分，一般主句缺宾语时用它。如：she are talking about where the guy come from . 她在谈论这个家伙来自哪里。很明显 where...from在句子中做了宾语的成分。 3.状语从句，与状语一样，修饰谓语、非谓语动词、定语、状语或整个句子的成分。如：I will call you as soon as I arrive in Beijing. 我到北京就将给你打电话。很明显 这是由as soon as引导的时间状语从句。 　　1. -Mike wants to know if__ ____a picnic tomorrow. 　　-Yes.
