Teaching process: Step I. Greetings. I’m your new teacher Tia. Nice to see you! Step II. Warm-up. Questions for students: Which room do you prefer? Who often does the housework? Will you help out around the house after school? What do you often do in a day(一天里)? How about your mother? As both or you are tired of working in the day, what shall you do? Step III. Presentation. Read as fast as you can to go through the story, try to answer the questions in 3a. Read the text again, and try to fill in the following blanks. 3. Team-work: discuss the 4 sentences with partners and translate(翻译). 1) The minute I sat down in front of the TV, my mom came over. 2) I’m just as tired as you are! 3) For one week, she did not do any housework and neither did I. 4) “ What happened?” she asked in surprise. His progress surprises me. 他的进步使我感到惊讶。 Problem-solving: What shall we do? We need to share the housework to have a clean and comfortable home. Sharing means love! Step IV. Oral practice.
