ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Job stress and mental health are always important issues in the study of management scholars, with the rapid development of economy and technology, the competition of the market and the talents has been increasingly fierce. As life pace becomes faster and working pressure gets bigger, the contradictions between personality, rules and regulations, psychological needs and personality enterprise management mode stick out, and make the enterprise staffs psychological problem more and more prominent, trigger a series of social tragedy. Most of the enterprises pursuit of maximize profits but pay little attention on psychological health problems of employees. Since the 1970s, research about work stress in the west has developed rapidly, and stress research in our country is not a long time. A lot of studies show that work stress influences the physiological, psychological behavior of the organization members, and then further affect organization’s performance or operation, etc. Employees psychological problems may lead to crisis in organizational level such as strike, resignation and even serious consequences like suicide, vicious crime. More concern for workers mental health is crucial. Based on reducing the pressure of work and improving employees psychological health level, this paper mainly considered the help the organization can provide employees and the actual function, the influence of the employees individual personality differences, studied the mechanism of action of work stress and organizational support
